Valerie J Anderson

Attorney Valerie Anderson has been practicing law in Massachusetts since 2016. Her primary area of focus is family law, including divorce, child custody, modifications and contempt matters. She also practices criminal defense and has experience with restraining and harassment order proceedings. Attorney Anderson previously worked as a mental health attorney, concentrating on guardianships and conservatorships of incapacitated persons, in addition to civil commitments.

A Massachusetts native, Attorney Anderson graduated from St. Louis University Law school, and previously worked as an Assistant Circuit Attorney for the City of St. Louis, Missouri. As a former prosecutor of domestic violence crimes, Attorney Anderson is particularly sensitive to the highly emotional nature of family law and is adept at helping her clients navigate
the complex court process.

In her spare time, Attorney Anderson enjoys exploring walking and hiking trails throughout New England, spending time with family and friends, cooking and visiting antique shops.
