Biography

Originally from Needham, Massachusetts, Brianna relocated to the Nation's capital to pursue an education in family, criminal, and child exploitation law before returning home to practice family law. Applying a dynamic approach to representation, Brianna prides herself in being a fearless and respectful advocate who utilizes creative problem-solving, communication, and litigation skills to assist clients as they together navigate the legal challenges and processes of the Massachusetts family law system.

Brianna earned a three-year Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland in 2018, as a student in the Justice and Legal Thought Scholars honors program. While there, she worked as a legal research assistant, consultant on course-redesign, and teaching assistant for family law and statistics courses, was honored with an award and scholarship at the 2017 Academic Showcase for her research project on community-centered, family-based approaches to juvenile delinquency prevention, interned with the Maryland State Commission on Criminal Sentencing Policy, contributing to the publication of its 2018 Annual Report, and worked on the first of three published textbooks for which she has conducted research, written, and edited.

Brianna earned her Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law in 2021, where she was involved in the Family Law Society (Executive Board, President), International Law Student Association (Executive Board, Director of LL.M. and Alumni Relations), and Tech, Law and Security Program. During law school, she had the privilege of interning with the Department of Justice's Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section, clerking for a Judge in the Seventh Judicial Circuit of Maryland, where she drafted and filed a Judicial Order and Memorandum on Appeal, and participating in the nationally ranked (2nd) Criminal Justice Clinic, prosecuting misdemeanor criminal cases as a student attorney with the Maryland State's Attorney's Office.

Now, as a Law Clerk with Callahan, Barraco, Inman & Bonzagni, P.C., Brianna combines academic and practical experience with compassion and passion for helping families, individuals, and children through the legal process. In her free time, Brianna enjoys snowboarding, playing tennis, cheering on the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots, and sifting through the latest true crime literature, film, and podcasts.
