Biography
Engaged in working closely with people throughout her entire legal career, family law Attorney Bhaumik enjoys building relationships with clients in a meaningful way to provide effective and powerful representation.
As a former Special Victims prosecutor in New York City and subsequent prosecutor in Berkshire County, Attorney Bhaumik has handled thousands of matters involving violent crime, families, couples and juveniles from a criminal perspective representing both the Commonwealth and State of New York.
Having had a focus on domestic violence, sexual assault cases and matters involving minors, Attorney Bhaumik prides herself on being compassionate and understanding in extremely sensitive situations and is known for making people feel comfortable, safe and heard while still being assertive and tactical in court.
Attorney Bhaumik has significant court room experience handling evidentiary matters and trials, excelling in courtroom advocacy and litigation. Fluent in seven different languages, highly organized and compelling, she uses these skills to aid in her practice.
Born and raised in New York City, Attorney Bhaumik moved to Massachusetts in 2020 to rejoin her family. She is a graduate of Dartmouth School of Law and Rutgers University and enjoys spending her time spoiling her puppy named Judge
